brotherhood and basketball

Two young men—one Black, one white—meet and bond over their love for the Cavaliers during LeBron James’ rookie season in Cleveland. Over the next twelve years, their passion for basketball never wavers, even as their lives keep moving in different directions. This warm, surprising, touching comedy about friendship, loyalty, loss, and the game is a slam dunk.

This show truly resonated with me not just because I love the game of basketball, but also for its core message of brotherhood. As someone who has brothers both by blood and by choice, I’ve learned that it’s important to pursue those relationships with intention.
